About Kerry Newth
My designs explore texture and form using traditional processes of granulation and reticulation in gold and silver. I create a range of women’s jewellery from bespoke neckpieces to feminine earrings and rings. My collections are inspired by organic growth patterns in the natural world. I use gold fusing, reticulation and granulation to create raised textured surfaces that entwine each piece. This technical exploration often leads to playing with scale, form and contrasting precious metals and semi-precious stones to create aesthetically beautiful forms. My work has been awarded in several exhibitions and galleries.
